Hey Dream Hustler!
I hope you’re having a great Labor Day weekend. Now that we’re losing our long daylight ours and warm weather, many of us are going to miss the fun Summer months. Anyways, just like the seasons it’s natural to experience loss, or even rejection in life, and knowing how to deal with it and what to do about it will help you cope and recover more quickly.
I’m sure you’ve noticed how being turned down or losing an opportunity stops some people from trying again, while others bounce back from rejection stronger than ever before. I for one, fall into the bounce back category, where I’ve taken some serious losses and was able to find the courage to redeem myself. Even as of recently there was an opportunity that I enthusiastically had my heart set on, however it fell through for me and I was sadly disappointed. Despite this I took a day to thoroughly process my emotions, and before long I was able to dust myself off and set off in search for new horizons.
My philosophy is that once one door closes, ten doors or more swing right open, therefore it’s unnecessary to continuously gripe about what’s already gone. So if you want to be mentally strong, and use the sting of loss or rejection to grow stronger and become better, watch today’s Dream Hustle Sunday Inspirational video, called “How To Handle Loss or Rejection Gracefully“. After watching this short video, feel free to share your thoughts and comments.
I hope you enjoyed these valuable tips in this video. Now, I’d love to here from you! What’s one piece of advice from the show that you will implement today? What is your biggest take away or insight?
