Hey Dream Hustler!
Hearing the word “selfish” used to sting me like a dagger, but with wisdom it has completely lost it’s power. I’ve experienced people using that word on me countless of times, in order to manipulate me to go along with their agenda. Nowadays, I gladly wear that word like a badge of honor, because I must be doing something right! This means I’m filling my own cup up first by handling my own business, meeting my own needs, while being responsible for my own happiness and well-being.
I’m sure my views on this maybe unconventional, or even a little controversial; but I’m a rebel with a cause. Let’s be honest, the folks that are succeeding in life, are the ones that have a healthy level of selfishness; and I’m not mad at them. As a matter fact, selfishness is necessary in order to succeed, because no one will be your biggest advocate, or will prioritize your dreams more than YOU! Besides, you can’t help but to admire the individuals who set boundaries, have a steadfast commitment to their goals, and who are laser focused enough to take action on their dreams. Overall, there’s nothing wrong with being selfish, just as long as it’s not at the expense of others.
All things considered, I’m sure there are probably a few of you that may disagree with my view, however please suspend your judgement for a second while I share my thoughts with you on today’s Dream Hustle Inspirational video, called “6 Great Reasons Why Being Selfish Is The Key To Success“. After watching this short video, feel free to share your thoughts and comments.
